About Us
Certification & Licensing

In our cattery, we prioritize not only the health of our kittens but also their socialization and emotional well-being. Every day is thoughtfully structured to be filled with love, play, enrichment, and learning opportunities that foster well-rounded development. We introduce our kittens to a wide variety of experiences—gentle handling, interactive toys, different sounds, and meeting new people—to build their confidence and adaptability. This early socialization helps ensure that each kitten is comfortable with household routines and ready to form strong bonds with their future families.
We take great pride in our breeding practices, always striving to adhere to the highest standards of responsible breeding. Our commitment to ethical breeding is reflected in the care we take when selecting breeding pairs, focusing on health, temperament, and breed standards. Our dedication to the well-being of our cats and kittens informs every decision we make, from providing a balanced, nutritious diet tailored to each stage of growth, to ensuring consistent veterinary care and preventative health measures. By continually educating ourselves and seeking out the latest advancements in feline health and welfare, we uphold the best practices in the industry and give our kittens the best possible start in life.

At our cattery, we place the utmost importance on the health and happiness of our kittens, recognizing that their well-being is essential not only for their development but also for the joy they will bring to their future families. We introduce our kittens to a diverse range of experiences designed to build their confidence and social skills, setting a strong foundation for their integration into new homes.

Excellence in Breeding

Our
Story

My name is Natasha and together my husband and I run AristoCoon Cattery. Our small family owned cattery started from a genuine love of Maine Coons and both our cats and our cattery are all TICA registered. We adhere to strict guidelines set by the TICA and breed only show quality, purebred Maine Coons.
We take pride in being exceptional Maine Coon breeders dedicated to the health and well-being of our cats. We believe that quality breeding starts with thorough medical testing. A responsible breeder always tests for medical conditions and potential health issues before adding a cat to their breeding program. Our meticulous approach considers lineage, parent sizes, genetic traits, DNA testing, coat colors, and specialized shading to ensure the best possible outcomes for our Maine Coon kittens and to preserve the majestic breed itself. Without dedicated breeders who understand the unique traits and qualities that make Maine Coons so special, the breed could face decline.
We maintain a small cattery as our cats are not just majestic house lions, but active members of our family. Unlike some breeders who house their cats separately or use cages, we prioritize the wellbeing and happiness of our cats, and take an honest, upfront approach to their care. Our goal is to provide each Maine Coon cat and kitten with ample love, attention, and personalized care. This hands-on approach ensures that every kitten is well-prepared for life in a family environment, making them friendly, confident, and well-socialized from a young age. We recognize the importance of nurturing their emotional and social well-being, so our kittens grow to be not only healthy but also loving companions for their future homes.
Our commitment to preserving the distinct traits of the Maine Coon breed—such as their friendly disposition, majestic appearance, and gentle nature—drives our ethical breeding practices. We strive to enhance the qualities that make Maine Coons so beloved, ensuring that each generation reflects the breed's remarkable characteristics. Every cat we breed is a testament to our dedication and passion for this extraordinary breed.
At AristoCoon Cattery, we are more than just breeders; we are devoted to caring for these magnificent cats. Whether you are looking to adopt a playful kitten or seeking guidance on Maine Coon care, we are here to help you every step of the way. Join us in celebrating the beauty and charm of Maine Coons, and let us assist you in welcoming a new furry family member into your home.

Reviews from AristoCoon Cattery Kitten Adopters
Outstanding. Adopting our newest family member from AristoCoon was a very pleasant experience. We were traveling in our RV when we found Polar Bear. Natasha went above and beyond to accommodate us and the logistics of us picking up our new kitty.
I highly recommend AristoCoon, and would adopt from them again without hesitation.

Why We Breed Maine Coons
I fell in love with the Maine Coon breed many years ago. When our family decided to get our own Maine Coons, we found a wonderful local breeder. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable as she prepared to retire from breeding. You could say it was perfect timing, and with both her encouragement and our commitment to learning about breed standards, coloring, traits, and TICA’s rules for showing and breeding Maine Coons, we embarked on our journey and established AristoCoon Cattery.
From the beginning, we aspired to be more than just another generic Maine Coon breeder. Our goal was to be the best breeders possible, specializing in rare colors, large sizes, and exceptional personalities. We thoroughly test the genetics of each cat in our breeding line to ensure their health, overall wellness, and lineage are of the highest quality.
We chose to keep our cattery small for several important reasons. First, we genuinely love all our cats and want to ensure they live their best lives with us. As members of TICA, we are aware of many breeders across the U.S.. We can assure you there is a significant difference between a breeder who raises their kittens in a home and one who keeps their cats outside, away from their families. From the start, we recognized that raising our cats in our home would limit our size as a breeding program, but we prioritized being a specialized breeding operation. This allows us to ensure that our cats are not only among the largest and most beautiful Maine Coons but also possess unmatched temperaments.
Another important reason for maintaining a small cattery is that providing each cat and kitten with the best quality care—both in our home and with our veterinarian—requires substantial investments of time and resources. In larger catteries, health and wellness often take a backseat to profit. We do not operate that way; we want our cats and our reputation as ethical and loving breeders to speak for themselves. And they do.
