Welcome to the cats behind AristoCoon. Sharing our family home with them means knowing their familiar company as well as their remarkable appearance. This is a little introduction to the individuals we know and love.

Aslan can look every inch the lion, then settle into our arms. Hunt has been caught looking completely at home on a blanket. Mischa wants to be where the children are, while Cinnamon likes to investigate what everyone is doing. These are the cat personality traits we love noticing: not a list of promises, but the habits that make each cat unmistakably themselves.

These stories take us from the kitchen to a favorite blanket, from the children’s bedrooms to a picture being hung. They are part of our family’s life with these cats, and it is a pleasure to share them with you.

Cat Personality Traits, Seen From Our Family Home

Our cats live in our family home. We get to know them in the middle of ordinary life, not only when it is time to take a photograph. That gives us the chance to notice who wants to be close, who comes to investigate, and which familiar places each cat chooses.

Ask us what our Maine Coons are like and the answer soon becomes a conversation about individual cats. Aslan is not Hunt, and Mischa is not Cinnamon. Getting to know the differences is part of the joy of sharing our home with them.

Aslan: A Lion’s Face, a Place in Our Arms

Aslan looks every inch the lion when you first see his face. In the kitchen, though, he is our boy enjoying a cuddle, with his head tucked into our arms.

That is one of the things we love about sharing our home with him: we get to know the affectionate cat behind that grand appearance. We are delighted to share a little of that side of Aslan with you.

Hunt: The Quiet Side of Company

Hunt has found a comfortable place on his blanket. He looks toward the camera for a moment, then his eyes begin to close. We love having this quiet, unhurried moment with him to remember.

We enjoy these quieter moments just as much as the playful ones. Our cats do not have to be in our arms for us to enjoy their company. Sometimes the lovely part is simply being nearby when one of them settles down.

More Than a Guest in the Room

In another video, one of our cats sits in front of a televised soccer match, watching the movement on the screen. We cannot claim to have a football expert in the family, but the scene made us smile. An ordinary moment had acquired a very attentive little spectator.

That is part of the pleasure of living with these cats: noticing the ways they become involved in what is happening around them. Sometimes that means joining the company. Sometimes it means having a closer look at something we had barely noticed ourselves.

Mischa: Where the Children Are

Mischa has a particular attachment to the children. She joins them on their beds, and a closed bedroom door can prompt a meow because she wants to be with them. It is such a recognizable part of her story here: Mischa has her own idea of where she belongs, and it is close to her chosen company.

Cinnamon: What Are We Doing Today?

Cinnamon’s curiosity has a different expression. When something is happening around the house, she wants to investigate. Even hanging a picture can attract her attention. Cinnamon wants to see what we are doing. We love that she notices, although tools and work areas still need to stay safely out of reach.

Mischa and Cinnamon remind us why a few familiar breed adjectives never tell the whole story. Both are part of the same home, but the moments we associate with each of them are different.

A Few Moments From Home

We enjoy sharing a mixture of lively and quiet moments. Aslan being held, Hunt settling on his blanket, and our attentive soccer spectator each bring something different to the introduction. Seeing them together gives visitors a sense of the company we enjoy at home.

Our TikTok offers those glimpses between the formal introductions: a little movement, a familiar room, and a cat being themselves.

A Family Home, Not a Personality Formula

Being raised around family life gives us opportunities to learn about each kitten and offer positive experiences. It does not make every kitten identical or promise instant closeness in a new home. We want families to be interested in the individual they are meeting, with time for that relationship to become their own.

The Cat You Come to Know

We hope you leave this introduction knowing a little more about Aslan, Hunt, Mischa, and Cinnamon—not simply as names on our website, but as members of the AristoCoon family. Their stories are a lovely place to begin getting to know us.

If you would like to meet the kittens we are raising, we would be delighted to introduce you to them too.
